Barcelona v Levante - player ratings from the easy win in Valencia

Barcelona dispatched Levante with ease in Valencia on Sunday night. Here, Rik Sharma gives you his player ratings for the Blaugrana stars in their 5-0 win.

---------------------------------------------------------

Claudio Bravo 6

The Chilean stopper had nothing to do as Barcelona gained an easy three points on the road.

Dani Alves 6

It was not a vintage attacking performance from Dani Alves, but he didn't do much wrong down the right flank.

Javier Mascherano 7

Cleared up a few loose balls and generally put out fires with ease. Looks very comfortable alongside Mathieu.

Jeremy Mathieu 6

Reasonable display from the Frenchman, only marred by an early error which was mopped up by Rakitic.

Jordi Alba 8

He wasted a good chance early on with a shanked cross-shot, but was an excellent outlet down the left. Set up Pedro's goal.

Sergio Busquets 7

Won the ball with his usual authority in midfield and got attacks going all game long.

Ivan Rakitic 8

The Croatian is increasingly more comfortable in Barcelona colours and scored a belter to double the lead when Barcelona were leading by a single goal.

Andres Iniesta 6

Perhaps affected by Messi dropping deeper, Iniesta was quieter than usual today, but still came up with a few nice touches and passes.

Pedro 6

Finally scored this season with a tap-in, but still looks off the pace. Suarez will have his eyes on this spot.

Lionel Messi 9

The Argentine was fantastic, creating two goals and adding another later on. The only blot on his copy book was his terrible penalty miss, skewed wide of the left-hand upright.

Neymar 7

Neymar kept a cool head to round the keeper and finish after a brilliant through-ball by Messi. The Brazilian squandered a couple of early chances before going off injured.

Subs:

Sandro - Did more in a couple of minutes on the pitch than Pedro did in the first hour, finishing with aplomb after Messi played him in

Xavi - comfortable, as you would expect, after replacing Busquets

Sergi Roberto - N/A
