Barcelona B humiliated 7-0 by Valladolid in record low

Barcelona B's 7-0 humiliation by Valladolid equaled the worst ever defeat suffered by the second team in the second division. 

They lost by the same scoreline against Racing Santander in 1988, according to stats master @2010MisterChip.

At the press conference after the game, coach Eusebio said: "It is the heaviest defeat, but not the hardest." 

That's hard to believe, and compoinds a miserable year. The team are in 18th position, just one above the relegation zone which contains Llagostera, Racing, Sabadell and Albacete. 

Among the players to feature in the game for Barca were Diagne, Grimaldo, Samper, Adama, Dongou, Sandro and Halilovic.

Their next game is on January 3 against Las Palmas.
