Barcelona hold new meeting with agent of Juventus star Paul Pogba

Barcelona have intensified contact as they try to sign Paul Pogba. In the last few days there has been a new meeting between Mino Raiola, the player's agent, and Ariedo Braida, Barcelona's international sporting director. The goal is to sign the Frenchman for the Catalan giants.

According to Gazzeta dello Sport, in the conversations that took place in Turin, various complicaions that could obstruct the move were discussed, as Braida and Raiola looked to solve them. One of these is the cost of the player, which could go over €80million. Another is the company that has Pogba's image rights, another is the FIFA ban that stops players from being registered at Barcelona until 2016, and finally, there's the player's salary - he'd want to be the second best paid player in the squad behind Leo Messi.

There are a lot of obstacles that need to be ironed out, if the club are to incorporate the midfielder for next season. One thing that won't be a problem is Real Madrid, who announced they are not negotiating with Juventus.
