Barcelona have Nolito and Denis Suarez ready to sign

FC Barcelona hope to make concrete the signings of Nolito and Denis Suarez in the days ahead. The Blaugrana have the total OK from both players to sign their new contracts and everything is on their clubs to speed up their exits. The signing of Nolito looks the easier, with Celta only looking for a way to ensure the 18 million euro transfer fee in June. Meanwhile, Villarreal are hoping to find a substitute for Denis Suarez.

Barcelona executives have started a final assault. In the case of Nolito, Barcelona will have him on a contract of 3.5 years, with another one optional, while Suarez's contract would be for 4.5 seasons, at the amounts agreed on last summer. They are contracts and deals that work within the club's financial structure so if both end up going through it would not be a problem.

Nolito's move is advanced, despite Celta appearing to put the handbrake on in the last few hours. The two clubs have agreed a loan, with an option to buy which Barcelona practically are obliged to take, in June. The legal formula is complicated but viable, although Celta have asked for economic compensation for the loan - money Barcelona cannot invest - so they can reinforce their squad now. Communication is constant and Barcelona have also offered Sandro as a loan, but Celta said no.

Villarreal will take 3.25m euros for him from Barcelona and could stand to earn two more as bonuses. The Yellow Submarine know they cannot stop Denis leaving, but want a substitute and have not found one on the market. They are looking at a list of players but it's not easy, and there has not been a lot of moment. Despite all this, Barcelona are confident all will end well next week.
