Barcelona firming up Ronaldinho's deal to be club ambassador

Ronaldinho will be a world ambassador for Barelona. He will become wone of the FCB Legends, a group of ex footballers whose job is to expand the Barcelona brand around the planet. Few former Cules can match up to Ronaldinho's level of popularity, and the club want to seal his new role as soon as possible.

Roberto de Assis, representative of the player, is set to meet Oscar Grau at the club officies. The objective is to firm up the deal that will seee Ronaldinho start. From there both club and ex player will look for the right moment to announce his link, and if it is convenient, have a public presentation. 

What is evident is that Barcelona are going to a lot of effort to sign him up, someone who despite leaving by the back door at the time is still a reference point in Blaugrana history. 

There was already a meeting between the club and the player in October, with Josep Maria Bartomeu explaining the role, where the base was set for the deal which is now being finalised. Ronaldinho has already featured at the opening of the team's club offices in New York.
