Barcelona didn't deserve to lose, claims Sergio Busquets

Sergio Busquets doesn’t think Barcelona’s defeat by Alaves was fair on his team, but wants to move on quickly.

“It’s obvious that it wasn’t our best game. They were much more effective and they won,” he explained. 

“I think it was an unjust defeat because they have’t done more than us to win, but they have been effective. 

“The calendar is the same for all teams. We all now that these things [international breaks] happen, so it’s not an excuse. We have a big squad and the manager decides who plays. “

Asked about Luis Enrique’s rotations, Busquets added: “The manager decided who should play. He made the changes which he felt were right for the team and it’s not a question of going over it.

“We have get ourselves back on track as soon as possible and think that things have only just began — there’s a long way to go in the league. Now we have to think about the Champions League and Celtic on Tuesday.”
