The Frenchman is now totally recovered from the knock he received vs. Atleti

However, Lucho has chosen not to include him in the squad for Valencia game

FC Barcelona continue to welcome back their injured players. The club have confirmed that Jeremy Mathieu now has the all clear to return to action, although he's not been included in the squad for Sunday's game against Valencia.

The French defender, who had returned to training at the end of the week, is not totally recovered from the injury he picked up in Barça's 2-1 win at the Vicente Calderon over Atletico Madrid after a challenge from Correa.

Three weeks later, Mathieu's ankle ligament damage has been repaired and he's once again available for Luis Enrique to select.

Once again, it's been an irregular campaign for the centre-back, who has played just 12 official matches (11 in the league and one in the Champions League) and has scored one goal.

The international break will provide him with some time to work on his strength and fitness after the injury with April and May set to be key months for Barca. They will need all their players as they look to compete for three trophies.
