Fingers crossed by Barcelona for new arrival Jasper Cillessen's final Ajax game

Barcelona are not prepared to take any risk over the current goalkeeping situation at the club and Jasper Cillesen's last game for Ajax could prove pivotal in the future of the players involved.

Luis Enrique reluctantly allowed Claudio Bravo to leave for Manchester City but his move will not be confirmed by the Blaugrana until Cillessen passes through Ajax's Champions League play-off second leg against FC Rostov without any problems.

It's something that Robert Fernandez confirmed when he spoke about Bravo's exit from the Camp Nou. "In this case, everything will take shake and we'll reveal more when we finalise Bravo's transfer and sign another goalkeeper," he said.

Cillessen still remains an Ajax player, for now, and hasn't started the season as planned. But coach Peter Bosz is unwilling to allow the 27-year-old to leave without first qualifying for the Champions League group stages.

The tie is currently tied at 1-1 and Ajax simply need a good performance against Rostov to advance to the next stage of the competition.

Assuming all goes to plan and injuries aside, Cillessen will undertake his Barça medical tomorrow and shortly after sign his club contract.
