Barcelona could play as many as 65 games this season

Barcelona could play as many as 65 official games in the 2015-16 season, a number they have not hit before. They have 38 games in La Liga, two in the Spanish Supercup, the European Supercup final, the Club World Cup, as well as the chance to go deep in the Champions League and Copa del Rey. 

The most games they have played in any season was in 2011-12, where they entertained us 64 times in total. Following that is 1999-200, with 63 matches, ahead of 2008-09 and 2010-11 with 62 clashes each. In 2011 with Pep Guardiola, Barcelona could have hit 65 but were knocked out by Chelsea in the semi-finals.
