Barcelona Champions League draw pits them against Roma, BATE and Leverkusen

FC Barcelona have been drawn against Bayer Leverkusen, Roma and BATE Borisov in the group phase of the Champions League 2015-16 draw. It took place at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco. 

Barcelona were the first team to be picked out, by none other than former goalkeeper and sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta. 

On paper Barcelona have got a favourable group, and should progress to the last 16 of the tournament. 

The strongest rival is Bayer Leverkusen. Picked out of the hat by Juliano Belletti, the Germans won't be easy to beat. 

Then Carles Puyol picked Roma from the pot of third seeds, the Italian side that Barcelona beat 3-0 in pre-season. 

Finally, Eric Abidal selected BATE Borisov as the final ball - the club where former Barcelona midfielder Alex Hleb plays.
