Barcelona board meeting to discuss Johan Cruyff tribute options

Barcelona's board are meeting on Tuesday to evaluate the initiatives the club will take to pay homage to Johan Cruyff. The club are studying all methods possible, but will not take a definitive decision in this meeting, although it is important. The board are clear that minor initiatives can be discarded, like naming Gate 14 after him, becuase they do not do justice to the greatness of Cruyff.

Barcelona fans have shown their great respect for Cruyff at the memorial, which will close on Tuesday, with a few acts organised by the club and Cruyff's family. After this commemoration, the board will debate the various ideas brought to them by socios, including renaming the stadium after him or retiring the No 14 shirt. The fans are also expecting a big homage at the next game - El Clasico.
