Barcelona board give clues about who will replace Luis Enrique at Camp Nou
Vice president Jordi Mestre spoke to Esport3 about the hunt for a new boss
Mestre says the profile the coach must have has already been decided
It seems there's still a long way to go in Barcelona's search for a new manager. The board are working on appointing Luis Enrique's replacement, but it appears they have still not decided on a solution.
Barça vice president, in the absence of sporting director Robert Fernandez, was in charge of speaking to the media after the Blaugrana's 4-1 win over Villarreal on Saturday.
"What I can say is that we have decided on the profile [the manager] must have. President [Josep Maria] Bartomeu will have the final say, although the names will be put forward by Robert Fernandez. We have a clear idea about how the new Barcelona coach needs to be," Mestre indicated.
"We won't communicate anything until the end of the season out of respect for Luis Enrique. I insist, I can't say anything else. It's a delicate moment, we have to be discrete... things are advanced," he added when speaking to Esport3.
