Barcelona are flying right now, with seven wins in seven games

Barcelona are a completely different side to the one they were a few weeks ago. They are unrecognisable.

It has nothing to do with 2014 ending. The defeat at Anoeta against Real Sociedad (at the beginning of 2015) did a lot of damage and provoked a reaction across the whole club.

As well as sackings and elections, it has also affected the performance of the first team and the Blaugrana have not tasted defeat since San Sebatian.

Barca have now won seven games in a row in an extremely short period of time. In this perios they have played four Copa del Rey games and four matches in la Liga.

They have scored 26 goals during the run and have conceded just three -- two of those from the penalty spot.

Both the players and the technical staff deserve credit for the change in fortunes.

Luis Enrique has bet on a set team for once, with rotations coming at more sutiable times, such as for the win over Elche last weekend.

Messi, meanwhile, has assumed the roll of leader of the dressing room and had been in great form. Neymar has also been fantastic in recent weeks and for large parts of this season.

Now, on Sunday, there is another interesting challenge to conquer: Villarreal at Camp Nou.
