Barcelona are fed up of Adriano still hanging around

Barcelona still don't have a solution to the problem of Adriano's exit. The Brazilian will return to training on Tuesday, even though he's not wanted by Luis Enrique and the club want to get rid of him once and for all. Adriano has one more year at the club, but so far has resisted moving away for the second summer in a row. His role in the team is testimonial and with Lucas Digne arriving, there is no reason for him to stay.

He has only played in 189 games in six seasons. In the last he took part in 19 games across all competitions. Only two players featured less, Aleix Vidal - 19 games and he arrived in January - and Rafinha - 11 games because of his serious knee injury.

The defender was the first signing by Sandro Rosell as president in 2010 and he cost 9.5 million euros. His versatility has allowed him to stay six seasons, although he has never had an important role. Adriano is sometimes remembered negatively for appearing in bad times - like the painful 2011 Copa del Rey final, when Cristiano Ronaldo won an aerial ball and beat Pinto to give Mourinho's team the title. He also made a big mistake in a Champions League game against Arsenal which could have given Arsenal a goal and eliminated Barcelona, but for Mascherano's fine tackle on Bendtner.

The coaches have noted his affable character and his lack of complaints about playing time, but his constant muscular injuries are another thing that count against him.
