Barça's Albert Soler flew out to Italy on Wednesday for Paul Pogba talks

They say that three is a crowd, but on this occasion it should be just enough to close an agreement for the Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba to move to FC Barcelona next summer, once the Catalan club's transfer ban has been lifted.

Ariedo Braida, FC Barcelona's director of international football, and Giuseppe Marotta, Juve's sporting director, have already met in Milan on Monday, but on Wednesday they have been joined by Barça's Albert Soler in Italy (pictured)

It is clear that the priority of all three men is to finalise a deal that guarantees Pogba moves to Barcelona in the summer of 2016. Juve, therefore, will get to keep him for one more year, rather than see him leave like Carlos Tevez, Andrea Pirlo and perhaps Arturo Vidal, too.

Barça's representatives intend to put in place a deal on Wednesday which can then be completed after the July 18 elections, when a new Barcelona president will be voted for.

Soler and Braida want to present to the new president a pre-agreement with Pogba and Juventus which shows the French international will wait for a year before moving to Camp Nou to play his football in Spain.

All of the candadites to be the next Barcelona president have given the thumbs up to a move for Pogba, providing a deal can be agreed on all three sides.
