Barça youngster Maxi Rolon shines for Argentina at South American U20 event

Maxi Rolon is one of the stars of the South American U20 tournament currently taking place in Montevideo.

The Barça B forward was the hero as Argentina beat Brazil in their most recent game in Uruguay.

He was the scorer of the game's opening goal in the 86th minute as his country eventually claimed a 2-0 win against their old rival.

Argentina sit top of the table in the final phase of the tournament with seven points from their three matches.

They are level with hosts Uruguay, but clear of Colombia, Brazil, Paraguay and Peru.

In his first season with Barça B, after being promoted from Juvenil A, the Argentine Rolon has hardly been used by Eusebio, even though he does well when he does play.

He almost went on loan to Lleida last summer, but a deal didn't materialise.

Barça hope he will go out on loan later this year to give him the chance to demonstrate his talent on a regular basis in Spain.
