Barca train ahead of Villarreal clash with just two men missing

Barcelona returned to training on Friday after a day off following Wednesday night's cup heroics in Madrid.

Douglas and Thomas Vermaelen were the only absentees from Luis Enrique's squad.

The Brazilian is working on his own recovery individually, while the Belgian isn't expected to feature until at least April.

Gerard Pique was present, though, despite becoming a father for the second time late on Thursday evening.

The Catalan defender has been in splendid form recently.

Luis Enrique is preparing his side for Villarreal's visit to Camp Nou on Sunday night.

And after Sunday's league meeting, the two sides are set to meet two more times in the next month in the semi-final of the Copa del Rey.

After Barca knocked out at Atletico Madrid on Wednesday, Villarreal cemented their place in the last four with a 2-0 aggregate win over Getafe.
