Barça target Verratti holds meeting with PSG's new sporting director

Paris Saint-Germain's in-demand midfielder Marco Verratti is the first player from the French club to speak to Antero Henrique, the new sporting director in place. 

Verratti -- who has different offers from various European clubs, among them Barcelona -- could have been holding the meeting with Henrique to speak about his future with the club. The sporting director, meanwhile, according to Le Parisien, could have been explaining the club's plans in a bid to sell the project to a player he wants to build a side around. 

Meanwhile, Verratti's agent has not closed the door to an exit. "At the moment, PSG's desire is to keep him at all cost. But it's not about money. PSG hve not improved or grown much in the last four of five years," said Donato Di Campli, who added that an offer from Juventus would be "attractive". 

Barça are desperate to sign the Italian international for their midfield but need the player to make an effort to ensure PSG are willing to sell.
