Barça B staring relegation in the face after loss to Las Palmas on Saturday

With just two games remaining it is looking impossible for Barça B to maintain their status in La Segunda.

After Saturday's 4-3 defeat to Las Palmas, they find themselves at the bottom of the table, five points from safety.

Jordi Vinyals' side would have to win their final two matches, while also hoping the four teams immediately above them drop points.

Osasuna, the team currently out of the bottom four, have a five point advantage on Barça B and can relegate the Catalan side if they win one of their remaining games.

Barça B did almost snatch an unlikely point against Las Palmas.

After falling four-goals behind, with Sergio Aruajo netting two, they fought back with three goals in the final 11 minutes.

Jean Marie Dongou scored the first, with Joan Roman adding the next two.

However, they didn't salvage anything from the game and now look like starting next season in Spain's third tier.

Questions will be asked when the season ends.
