The defender's agent is not giving anything away as decision day looms

Clement Lenglet's agent has left the French defender's future in suspense. Gregory Dakad has left the door open for the centre-back to return to training with Sevilla on July 3 if he accepts the Andalusian club's offer to renew.

While Sevilla had to begin to give up on keeping Lenglet and Barcelona prepared to pay his 30 million euro release clause on July 1, Dakad has made some surprising comments about the player's future.

In an interview with Estadio Deportivo, Dakad said that Lenglet saying 'yes' to Barcelona or the other clubs who are interested in him depends on what Sevilla offer.

Lenglet, who has promised to give the club an answer before June 30, is waiting to see what Sevilla's counter-offer is, which would see his release clause rise if he signed it.

Leaving that open as a possibility, Dakad said: "Maybe on July 3 we will see Lenglet in Sevilla [reporting back for preseason]."

Everything should become clear this week, because on July 1 Barça are prepared to pay his release clause to bring him to Camp Nou.
