Barça pick up a decisive victory despite a disastrous performance

From a football festival against Valencia to a drowsy performance against Levante. From the excellence in the Copa del Rey to the mediocre in La Liga. The transformation, for the worse, of Barcelona in just four days is surprising. At Camp Nou, in the semi-final first leg, we enjoyed the best version of Luis Enrique's side - with a historic 7-0 win. This Sunday, things were completely different. Barça offered their worst version in an early kick off with the players seemingly still asleep.

FC Barcelona, who had a goal incorrectly ruled out for offside after two minutes, took the lead in a fortunate fashion when David Navarro scored in his own net with his backside. Yes, with his backside. And that's pretty much how the game stayed. A game which was tough for the Blaugrana. With the trident hardly touching the ball (Messi, Suarez and Neymar were hardly seen, which hardly happens); with a midfield overcome by Levante's strength (Busquets' absence was noticed - he came on in the 67th minute); and with a defence struggling with the home side's pace (Dani Alves seemed totally off his game).

Barça played with fire for too long. And they nearly got burnt. But this team also knows how to win these types of games. And they even scored a second goal, though Luis Suarez in the last breath of the encounter. It was Luis Enrique's 100th game in charge of Barça and they won it by the skin of their teeth. It was Lucho's 80th win as manager, but it won't be remembered as one of his finest. Even though the team have demonstrated their strength as they extended their unbeaten run to 28 games, matching the record set by Pep Guardiola's side in 2010-11.
