Barça midfielder Song remains close to signing for West Ham
Despite interest from both Manchester United and Chelsea, Barça midfielder Alex Song is closest to joining West Ham, the club at which he spent last season on loan.
Song was present to see the comfortable 3-0 Hammers win over Lusitanos in the qualifying stages of the Europa League and received a show of support, as he did while playing on the field last season.
The former Arsenal man signed for Barcelona in 2012 for 19 million euros, on a five-year-deal, with a release clause of 80 million euros.
