Barça line up move for Atletico Madrid star Koke

This can be expected to happen at breakneck speed. The ratification of FIFA's sanction against Barcelona, which stops them from signing players until January 2016 means the club should make a move as soon as possible for Atletico Madrid star Koke

The technical secretary will try to seal a deal in the 12 days left until the transfer window slams shut.

Barcelona will submit a strong offer for the Atletico midfielder which will help the deal progress quickly.

Diego Simeone would consider it impossible to let Koke go, so what the club plan do do is buy him and allow him to return on loan this season.

That way Atletico might look on the deal favourably, given he can wear the Rojiblanco strip for one more term.

All indications are that Dani Alves will leave the club when his contract expires, on June 30, 2015, and Luis Enrique is close to sealing a deal for Sao Paulo star Douglas.

The right-back may come to Spain immediately, or like the potential Koke deal, could stay in Brazil for one more year.

More difficult are the targets Marco Reus and Juan Cuadrado.

Bayern Munich are in the driving seat for the former, while Fiorentina's high asking price means the Colombian is unlikely to arrive at the Camp Nou.
