Barça legend Xavi Hernandez renews with Al-Sadd until 2020
The midfielder has signed another contract extension in Qatar
Al-Sadd have confirmed that Xavi Hernandez has renewed his contract with the club for two more years, extending his stay until at least 2020.
Xavi joined the Qatari club in 2015 from Barcelona and is taking his coaching badges while he is there with a view of one day returning to Camp Nou.
The midfielder has just completed his third year with Al-Sadd and will now turn his attention to his fourth and fifth seasons playing in Qatar.
"I am happy to keep on being a part of the Al-Sadd family for two more years,” Xavi told the club's official website.
“I am delighted to be at the club and with its fans. Everyone here is one big family and I am satisfied and thrilled to continue.”
