Barça interested in Roma full-back Peres who Pep also wanted

Barça are following the progress of Roma right-back Bruno Peres, according to fichajes.net. The Brazilian was one of the revelations in Serie A last season and various clubs were interested in him in the summer, although it was Roma who finally signed him from Torino for 12.5 million euros. Bruno Peres was monitored by Manchester City, but Pep Guardiola ruled the signing out as he wasn’t sure he would adapt to English football.
Bruno Perez is 26 and is a full-back with a clear attacking vocation. The Brazilian has not had a great start to the campaign, but he’s a player with a lot of room for progress due to his physique and his technique. Barça are waiting for the resolution of the Aleix Vidal situation and could sign a full-back in January, although it’s more likely they wait until the end of the season. Joao Cancelo (Valencia) and Hector Bellerin (Arsenal) are their preferences, but both players are proving difficult to sign.
