Barça hand final ultimatum to Luciano Vietto

Barcelona have not yet thrown in the towel over Luciano Vietto, even though the Atletico Madrid striker is on the brink of joining Sevilla.

The Blaugrana, however, will attempt to change the Argentinian's mind in the next few hours and convince him that Catalonia is the destination to be. It's an ultimatum that has little chance of success given Sevilla and Atletico have practically closed the deal, which, according to Cadena SER, is set to be finalised for three million euros.

Vietto will move to the Estadio Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan on a season-long loan with a unilateral option included that will enable Sevilla to make the deal permanent for around 20 million euros at the end of the 2016/17 campaign.

Barça remain hopeful about the situation and cling on to the words of Vietto himself, who recently stated that he doesn't know where he will play next season. And the fact remains that he will certainly enhance his prestige and all-round game alongside the "MSN" trio if he does decide to join the Catalan club.

Although the Blaugrana are preparing to lose out in the race for the 22-year-old, one last attempt is to be made nevertheless.
