Barça B to give Lee Seung-Woo and Seung Ho Paik a chance in pre-season

Lee Seung-Woo and Seung Ho Paik will take part in pre-season with Barça B. SPORT have been informed that the two young Korean footballers will join in with the rest of the squad when training begins on July 13.

It's an important step in their progression with the club. The intention of those responsible for Barça's academy is that the manager of Barça B -- who has still not been confirmed -- will then decide whether they stay with the second team or return to Juvenil A. 

Both Lee and Paik were affected by the FIFA sanction which was imposed on Barcelona. Their arrival at the club was irregular in the eyes of FIFA, which has prevented them from playing in official competitions for the the last two years.

That ban will continue until 2016. Paik is now 18, but the restrictions on registering players means he can't debut until January, 2016. As for Lee -- who returned to Barcelona on Tuesday after spending time in Korea -- he will be free to play on January 6, when he turns 18.
