The winger will spend some time back in his homeland

He produced a good performance against Girona

Ousmane Dembélé returned to the Barcelona team against Girona on Saturday after two games without playing a single minute. The France international produced a great performance, above all in the second half, recovering some good sensations.

It was one of the many pieces of good news to come from the Catalan derby at Camp Nou. Ernesto Valverde, satisfied with his players, has given them 48 hours off. They were in on Sunday morning for a recovery session but are not due back now until Tuesday at 18h.

Dembele will take advantage of the small break -- with his manager's permission -- to disconnect from the day to day of his new life in Barcelona and return to Paris.

The winger headed back to France on Sunday and will spend some time there with the satisfaction of having played really well at Camp Nou this weekend, his personality shining through despite the doubts which had been generated.

His performance was crowned with an assist against Girona, creating the goal which saw Luis Suarez complete his hat-trick.
