Barça-BATE had just 37,374 spectators six years ago

Just 51,645 fans were at Camp Nou on Tuesday to see Lionel Messi score four goals as Barcelona beat Eibar 6-1 to make it five wins from five in La Liga.

It's the lowest attendance for a Barça home game in La Liga since 2008-09, when just 47,330 people were present for a game against Numancia on Jan. 24, 2009.

The lowest crowds usually happen in the Copa del Rey, although since the first match in the competition was named 'Day of the Socios' attendances have increased. In the last 16 in 2010-11, jusy 48,167 saw Barça play Sevilla in the cup.

The worst attendance in all competitions in recent history was on Dec. 6, 2011 when Barcelona hosted Bate Borisov in front of a crowd of 37,374.

Going back further, only 22,763 supporters were at Camp Nou in the 2008-09 season for a game between Pep Guardiola's Barça and Shakthar Donesk.
