Barça B set to sign Vitinho on loan from Palmeiras
The creative midfielder's full name is Victor Hugo Santana Carvalho
He's just 19 and Barcelona will have an option to sign him next summer
Barcelona are close to finalising a loan move with an option to buy for Brazilian midfielder Vitinho from Palmeiras, according to Rac1.
Victor Hugo Santana Carvalho, to give Vitinho his full name, will join Barça B initially in a similar deal to the one which saw Marlon Santos sign last summer.
The 19-year-old has played eight times for Palmeiras' first team, but saw his progression halted after the Brazilian side invested the money they received from the sale of Gabriel Jesus in Miguel Borja.
That's one of the reasons they're ready to let him leave on loan, so that the player can enjoy regular football.
Vitinho is a quick and creative midfielder who is known for his vision.
