Barça and Galatasaray strike Arda Turan agreement for January
The player will be allowed to leave on loan with an option to buy

FC Barcelona and Galatasaray are close to closing a deal for Turkish midfielder Arda Turan. The two clubs have reached an agreement in principle for a loan with an option to buy to take place in January. Now, it rests on the player.
According to reports in Fanatik on Wednesday, the first meeting between Barça and Galatasaray was positive and an agreement was quickly reached. Arda Turan, who as a contract at Camp Nou until 2020, is not in Ernesto Valverde's plans and will be allowed to leave in the winter.
The loan move would be worth 1.5 million euros, while there would also be an option for the deal to be made permanent at the end of the season for a pre-agreed fee.
Galatasaray coach Igor Tudo is looking forward to being able to work with Arda Turan.
