Atletico Madrid waiting on Godin's fitness to complete line-up vs. Barça
Simeone has near enough decided on his side to face the Catalans but will wait on the Uruguayan
Atletico Madrid host Barcelona this weekend in La Liga and are working on the line-up Diego Simeone could put out at the Vicente Calderon -- everything is pending Diego Godin's fitness.
After working in the gym, the Atletico squad took part in a session at the Ciudad Deeportiva del Cerro de Espino with Godin involved. However, the Uruguayan is still waiting for the all clear from the club's medical team.
Juanfran is also back in training working with the ball after getting injured against Celta Vigo.
Simeone also worked with Vrsaljko, Lucas, Giménez, Savic, Filipe, Tiago, Thomas, Saúl, Gabi, Koke, Carrasco, Gaitán, Cerci Correa, Torres, Griezmann and Gameiro, as well as the goalkeepers Moreira, Moyá and Oblak. B team players Juan Moreno, Keidi and Caio were also involved.
With this in mind -- and Godin expected to be OK -- the back four is likely to be Filipe Luis, Godín, Giménez and Vrsaljko; the midfield should be Gabi, Koke, Sául and Carrasco; and Griezmann and Gameiro will be the two front men.
