Arsene Wenger speaks about the chances of taking over at Barcelona

The French coach has been proposed by some as a possible Lucho replacement at Camp Nou

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is one of the managers who has seen their name linked with replacing Luis Enrique at Barcelona, above all by the British press.

For that reason, the French coach was questioned on Thursday whether he would be interested in taking over from the Barça boss at Camp Nou in the summer.

Wenger, whose future is uncertain beyond the end of the current campaign, made it clear that his preference is to remain where he is.

"No, my preference has always been the same and will remain the same," he told the gathered journalists. "I am not looking for jobs in other clubs or jobs for other people. I am just focused on me."

Therefore, Wenger has seemingly ruled himself out of the running for the Barça job, although he's not thought to feature highly on the club's wanted list.

For now, as long as the club and supporters want him, he is keen to remain in charge of the Premier League side.
