The player's not changed his mind and wants to continue at Camp Nou

Despite an agreement with Galatasaray, he's not ready to return home

Barcelona midfielder Arda Turan is refusing to leave the club. The Turkish international has three more years on his contract Camp Nou and is standing firm on his desire to stay, despite the club reaching an agreement for him to join Galatasaray on loan for two years.

His agent, Ahmet Bulut, has been the first to appear to deny the Galatasaray loan on the day the transfer window closes in Turkey: "Turan will continue with Barcelona. The reports arriving from Spain are false," Bulut said.

A few days ago, Arda Turan made it very clear that he would not listen to offers this month: "I'm going to stay. I am happy here and I have three years on my contract."

It's a posture which he has maintained despite RAC1's report that Barça and Galatasaray have reached an agreement for him to join the Turkish club for the next two years.

Let's see what happens before the closing of the window in Turkey. Turan has been given the No.7 at Barça, though, and both he and his agent have said all summer that he is going nowhere.
