Arda Turan: Seventh most expensive signing in FC Barcelona's history
The 34 million euros Barcelona have paid Atletico Madrid for Arda Turan -- without including the seven million in variables -- is one of the highest transfer fees Barça have ever paid for a player.
Neymar, at 86 million, is the club's most expensive ever signing, with Luis Suarez second. Barça paid Liverpool 81 million for the Uruguayan last summer. Completing the podium is Zlatan Ibrahimovic, at a cost of 49.5 million from Inter.
Also ahead of Arda Turan are David Villa (40 million from Valencia), Alexis Sanchez (37.5 million from Udinese) and Marc Overmars (36 million from Arsenal). Then comes the Turkish international at 34 million, placing him seventh.
Completing the Top 10 are Ronaldinho (30 million from PSG), Javier Saviola (29.5 million from River Plate) and Dani Alves (29.5 million from Sevilla, not counting the add ons).
