The Turkish FC Barcelona star played 90 minutes against Finland but has been released

He was let go by Terim for precaution and will head back to FC Barcelona

Arda Turan will not play for Turkey on Monday against Moldova because of a groin problem.

The Turkish Football Federation told Barcelona about the issue that will stop him featuring in Eskisehir.

Turn will return to Barcelona after being released by Turkey coach Fatih Terim, who was told by the medical team not to take any risks with the player after they tested him on Sunday night.

Arda took part in the 2-0 win over Finland in Antalya, a World Cup qualifier. He played the full 90 minutes.

The player’s future at Barcelona is unclear with a lot of interest in him from the Chinese Super League. He has a contract until 2020 and a release fee clause of 125 million euros. Barcelona bought him for 34 in 2015.
