Arda Turan and Aleix Vidal combine spectacularly to defy doubters

Aleix Vidal and Arda Turan, two signing last season who were both criticised, combined to score Barcelona's first goal of preseason.

The Turk, who has been linked with an exit from the club all summer, showed his true class with a lovely, curling strike that found the top right corner, after Vidal nutmegged his marker and cut the ball back to the edge of the box.

Turan was playing in Iniesta's usual position, as the left attacking central midfielder, with Denis Suarez in the Rakitic position. It was Denis Suarez who fed Vidal with a fine pass down the right. Sergi Roberto was playing as the deepest midfielder.
