Madrid could beat Barcelona to the signing of Flamengo's Lincoln

It would see the Vinicius Jr. sage repeated just months later

Real Madrid and Barcelona could have begun another war in the Brazilian market. The objective this time is young forward Lincoln Correa, who plays for Flamengo and is impressing at the U17 World Cup.

Lincoln, 16, has shown his eye for goal at the tournament. Barça have been alerted to him, but Real Madrid have an ace up their sleeve which could knock out the Catalan's interest.

It could be a repeat of the Vinicius Jr. case, also of Flamengo, who Madrid ended up signing for 45 million euros.

According to different reports in Brazil, the relationship between Madrid and Flamengo, which developed via the signing of Vinicius, a friend and team-mate of Lincoln, places Madrid in an advanced position.

Los Blancos, therefore, are the favourites to sign one of the players who is lighting up the World Cup in India at the moment.
