Barça will receive around three million euros from Morey's departure

Morey joins Mboula and Eric Garcia in leaving La Masia this month

Another shock for La Masia. If on Tuesday the news of Eric Garcia's move to Manchester City was confirmed, on Wednesday there's news of another player leaving the club. Full-back Mateu Morey (17) is off to Bayern Munich.

The news was first reported by RAC1 journalist Gerard Romero. The German club will pay Barça three million euros for a player that stood out as Spain won the U17 European Championships earlier this year.

Mateu Morey was due to play for the U19 A (Juvenil A) team next season after two years with the U19 B (Juvenil B) team. He's a full-back who's good going forward and is well liked within the club, where he was predicted to have a bright future. After a good season, interest in him increaded and there were various clubs in contact with his representatives. In the end, Mateu has opted for Bayern.

With MAteu, that's now three important players who have left the academy this month after the departures of Jordi Mboula and Eric Garcia. Barca have a problem and in the coming days there could be even more departures confirmed, which would do a lot of damage to the club.
