Andres Iniesta: We didn't win the Copa del Rey last year, so we have to do it

One of Barcelona's captains, Andres Iniesta, spoke to the media ahead of the Copa del Rey final.

The central midfielder called on anybody connected with FC Barcelona, from the players to the fans, to take on the final with maximum concentration.

They face Athletic Club at the Camp Nou on Saturday night, 9.30pm CET kick off.

With Xavi Hernandez leaving at the end of this season, and Victor Valdes and Carles Puyol going the season before, Iniesta is the only one of the four captains left from the 2008-09 treble winning campaign.

"We have the same, or more hope of winning as Athletic, we are as excited as anyone to win the Copa del Rey. We come from not winning it last year and the hope, the enthusiasm and the form of preparing for the final has been as it has to be, to bring the title home," said the Fuentealbilla born player.

"Tomorrow we play at home, but the fans are divided. It will be a day to enjoy, but we know that we have to do everything very well," he said, wary of the dangers of Athletic.

"A team that can play in different ways," but he thinks that they "will go for the game from the start, because they have players".
