Andre Gomes: I feel comfortable at Barcelona

The midfielder analysed the win over Osasuna after being handed another start by Lucho

Andre Gomes is earning, little by little, the confidence of his manager.

Luis Enrique is giving him continuity in the side and he's started five of the last six games.

Maybe, for that reason, the Portuguese midfielder had no problem saying that "I am feeling comfortable at Barcelona."

He's grateful for the faith shown in him by Luis Enrique "because it's important to have continuity in the play and that can only come with games."

Gomes recognised that adapting to the team's style of play is tough "because Barça way of playing is different.

"All teams play deep against us and you have to look for [different] ways to create chances."

On the win over Osasuna, he commented: "We deserved to win the game we because we created a lot of chances. It was a fair result."

He preferred not to speak about the Ballon d'Or, though, but did defend Lionel Messi.

"[Messi] always appears. It's true he didn't score in the first half but in the second he had his chances and he took them. He's always there to help the team."
