Andoni Zubizarreta's press conference... in 10 key phrases

Andoni Zubizarreta took stock of the huge changes that the first team has gone through this summer. The sporting director has made 24 operations this summer, including transfers, sales and loans. These are his best lines...

-----------------------------------------------

1. Renewing the squad

Once again we have a team at a high competitive level. It is a recongnisable side, but with nuances. I am very happy. We will see where we end up. I do not want to compare it to any other side.

2. Munir's future

He is a footballer who has progressed well and has a great ability to compete - like a lot of the youth players. We will work with his agent to visualise a career path. It should be part of a process of work and growth.

3. Dani Alves

There is no debate on the subject of his contract. It ends in 2015, there is no tension. We are pleased that Dani is here.

4. Cantera

During the pre-season they have been very important because of the World Cup. This year, the Barca B players can help us a lot. It's good for the boys and for the competitiveness in the squad.

5. Cesc's injury

Eight months playing with a groin injury? I can only say that in Barcelona we have the best conditions for medical service, they have always been at his side. Now I wish him wel lat his new team.

6. Working with Puyol

I was talking to him yesterday. He was incorporated on the 15th, he will help us throughout the processes of transfers, methodology, coordinating football training, high competition, helping signings to adapt, monitoring loan players and youth stars. We will start a process of training in the area of sports management.

7. Last season

We were one goal away from winning the league, we played in the final of the Copa del Rey. I do not like analysing the past.

8. Neymar signing an autograph during his warm-up v Villarreal

Fines are dealt with in the dressing room. We have no problem with him.

9. Tata Martino

He did a great job at a dififcutl time. He accepted the challenge and that is invaluable. He gave us a human lesson. I have learned a lot from talking about football with Martino.

10. Messi

I admire him because he always plays against the best version of Messi that we remember. He is always at the top.
