Alves receives a hero's welcome from Juventus fans upon arrival in Turin

Dani Alves arrived at Juventus' medical center, 'J Medical', on Monday to begin the final stages of his move from Barça to Juventus and was greeted by a state of euphoria from a group of Bianconeri supporters.

The Brazilian will sign his contract this afternoon and will be tied to his Juve until 2018.

Alves, who travelled to Turin on Sunday night after enjoying a short holiday in the aftermath of Brazil's early exit from the Copa America, arrived at J Medical at 09:00AM today.

"Alves landed in Turin last night and arrived this morning at J Medical, and was received by a group of supporters and the media," Juve's statement read.

The 33-year-old will this evening become the second summer acquisition for the Italian club, with Miralem Pjanic recently joining from AS Roma. Alves has agreed a two-year contract and will earn around 3.5 million euros as a net annual salary according to local media reports.
