Alves: Neymar is the best Brazilian player I've ever seen
The former Barça right-back has fond memories of the Brazil star
He also said Messi's a "genius" and spoke about Ronaldo comparisons
In an exclusive interview with Andre Henninger in 'No Ar', Dani Alves lavished praise on his former Barcelona team-mate Neymar.
Alves spent three years playing alongside Neymar at Barça before leaving Camp Nou to sign for Juventus last summer.
However, he maintains fond memories of his compatriot, who he says will win the Ballon d'Or, which has been dominated by Leo Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, soon.
"Neymar is the best Brazilian player that I've seen. That's my opinion," Alves said.
"For me, Neymar is different, for his quality, he has a gift... it woun't be long until he wins a Ballon d'Or."
Alves also said Messi is a "genius" and spoke about the comparisons between the Barça star and Madrid's Ronaldo.
"Everyone manipulates and things aren't as they seem, I don't want to take anything away from Ronaldo, but Messi has more influence on the game," he said.
