Alexis Sanchez reveals what he learned from Pedro, Iniesta, Messi & Xavi

The Chilean is shining in England in part thanks to what he learnt while playing at Camp Nou

Alexis Sanchez didn't shine as much as he'd like to have done at FC Barcelona, but he's aware that his time at the club was positive, above all individually.

He recognised as much in an interview with FourFourTwo Performance.

“At Barcelona I learned how to play football all over again. From Iniesta I learned how to accelerate, from Xavi how to move, from Leo [Messi] to think ahead, and from Pedro I learned how to shoot," commented the Chilean, who feels he matured 80 percent after the 2010 World Cup.

On his private life, Alexis explained that after games he doesn't like to go out. “I don’t like to go out a lot,” he said. “I prefer to be at home and watch movies.”

On his diet, it's suggested chicken kebab, beetroot coleslaw and sweet potato keep him at the top of his game.

"The chicken provides lean protein to help muscle fibres repair. Sweet potato provides carbs to replace glycogen and helps drive the protein into the muscle cells. Beetroot causes greater blood flow of oxygen and nutrients to the muscle cells, improving recovery," said elite sports nutritionist Gavin Allinson.

Remember that Alexis Sanchez scored a hat-trick in his last Premier League game against West Ham.
