Alexis Sanchez recommends a Barça star to Arsenal

Alexis Sanchez has highlighted Arda Turan as a suitable reinforcement for Arsenal as the club's 12-year wait for the Premier League title continues.

The former Blaugrana acknowledges that the Gunners need to add quality to the squad in order to challenge for major trophies next season, and Arda has been cited as one of those to help mount the charge for Arsene Wenger's team.

As reported by several British media outlets, Sanchez has recommended that Wenger make a conscious effort to sign the 29-year-old, especially given Barcelonaa reached an agreement with Valencia for the transfer of fellow midfielder Andre Gomes on Thursday.

However, Sanchez's desires could be left to one side with Luis Enrique already stating that Arda will remain part of his plans and he believes that the former Atletico Madrid player can add quality both on and off the pitch for the first-team squad.
