Alex Song could make Premier League escape

Luis Enrique has left it very clear that he is not counting on Alex Song this season so the Cameroon midfielder may soon depart.

Brendan Rodgers wants Song in his squad at Liverpool, according to Metro, with Arsenal and Marseille also interested. 

There is less than a week to close the deal, with the transfer window slamming shut on August 31. 

Ibrahim Afellay has already departed and Song is the final player that Barcelona want to sell.

The Catalans are hoping to get €12.5million for the central midfielder, so Liveprool might ask to take him on loan with an option to buy next season.
