Paco Alcacer was the hero of Barcelona's 2-1 win against Sevilla, scoring both goals in perhaps his most important performance since signing from Valencia.

"More than my performance tonight I have to highlight how hard the team fought. “Games that you suffer in, like this one, always boost the team. It’s good that we’re all plugged in," he said.

And he added: "Strikers live for goals. I had a bad run at the beginning [with Barça] but in the end the goals have gone in. You have to keep working hard and wait for your chances.

“We have to take advantage of the opportunities that the coach gives us. I’m happy with my goals but more so for the result.”

On Barcelona's 16-game unbeaten run, he continued: "We've been doing things well from the start. As a team we all go as one. We have to follow that path. We've done the difficult thing, getting points in every game, and now we can be more relaxed going into the international break."
