Adriano's agent confirms the player is close to Roma deal
Adriano's agent has confirmed the Barcelona full-back is likely to leave for Italy, with Roma the player's likely destination.
"It's really tempting [the offer] and he thinks it is the right time for a change," Paulo Affonso Neves said.
He added: "Now is a good time to take on new challenges and to take advantage of being able to play for a big Italian team, which is Roma."
Paulo Affonso Neves did add that Adriano still has a great relationship with everyone at FC Barcelona, from the directors to the players.
"He has a great relationship with everyone and they have behaved very well with us," he continued.
"As professionals, the situation has been managed with intelligence and patience to reach this stage of the transfer."
This information arrives on the back of Barça right-back Douglas posting a message on Instagram, which appeared to be a good bye to Adriano.
"You are a beast, brother. People like you deserve a world of love, peace and happiness," Douglas wrote.
"I hope that you contunue to be this wonderful person, full of good qualities and with a contagious charisma.
"May you and your family be able to achieve all your dreams and be happy, not just today, but in all moments of life. May you have a lot of peace and may God continue to enlighten you."
