Adriano Correia seals move to Besiktas from FC Barcelona

FC Barcelona have announced the sale of Adriano Correia to Besiktas.

The deal sees the club receive 600,000 euros, although it could end up being a total of 1.7m euros, if Besiktas reach the Champions League in the three seasons Adriano is with the club.

He signed for a 2.4m euros season salary each sseason, with the deal reached almost a week after he travelled to Turkey.

Adriano had renewed his Barcelona contract for an extra year recently but was happy to move to a club where he said "I already feel like family".

He won 16 titles with Barcelona and played 189 games across six seasons, scoring 17 goals.
